Kara Hondong studied at the Kunsthochschule Mainz and the Royal College of Art in London. In her paintings she negotiates digital pictorial spaces, visual corporeality and the rhizomatic effect of ambiguity.In the use and development of new material processes, she explores questions of painting and strives for new exciting solutions//Kara Hondong hat an der Kunsthochschule Mainz und am Royal College of Art in London studiert. In ihren Malereien verhandelt sie digitale Bildräume, visuelle Körperlichkeit und die rhizomatische Wirkung von Mehrdeutigkeit. In der Verwendung und Entwicklung neuer Materialprozesse geht sie Fragen der Malerei nach und strebt nach neuen spannenden Lösungen.
